Halistoria is a remarkable collaborative piece, proving that Haliburton is "Where It's Art".
A team of writers, most especially our own Michael Fay, along with artists and dancers created the concept after working with the Shadowland Theatre of Toronto, to bring it to life.
Daniela Pagliaro did the magical choreography and Karen Sloan designed the masks. Julie Barban, Madeline Hopkins, and Christine Atrill brought the dance alive. Cedric Butz created the original music and Fay Martin kept it all moving forward through workshops, re-writes, and trial productions. The show ran for approximately twenty minutes on the Fall Equinox of September 22, 2012. It was held at the magical location on a the turn of the Gull River in Rotary Park, Minden.
We're proud to present a couple of the photos below that we feel captured the essence of this magical performance

Madeline Hopkins, above, dances with the grace and elegance equal to that of her character's name, 'Etheria'. The audience was truly astounded as she appeared from behind the rocky enclave, and began to mesmerize us with sublime movements, all the while reflected in the water below. Truly a sight to behold!

Toad and Terra in action in the above photo. This is all part of the journey of discovery as Toad emerges from to life from his cocoon. Julie Barban & Christine Atrill were absolutely captivating as they danced and played under a moonlit sky, bringing these characters to life.
The Conjurors would like to thank Barrie Martin and Hike Haliburton for giving us a showcase for Halistoria.
